Computational RNA Biology
The Research Group on Computational Genomics is led by Dr. Eduardo Eyras. The group focuses on the development of computational predictive models for the study of RNA biology. In particular, in the mechanisms of alternative splicing regulation and its relevance in cancer.
The main research lines are:
- Splicing complexity in cancer
- RNA and chromatin
- Biogenesis and function of small RNAs
This group is also part of the European network of excellence on alternative splicing EURASNET.
